RayStorm is an awesome vertically scrolling shooter by the makers of Darius Twin, Taito.
The 3-D capapbilities of the PlayStation are truly shown off when you not only have to look on your height level but WAY below you at times.  This keeps the pace at maximum speed, which amounts to chaos (in a fun way mind you) and a total sense of suspense.
A great shooter always uses the core feel of the genre, while twisting it in its own way.  You must look everywhere at every time to appreciate - and obliterate - what the game has to offer.
Unforgettable music always plays into a great shooter, and especially in outer space boy do we get beautiful music.  Once you hear it your soul is forever connected with this game.
So why are you waiting?  Download RayStorm immediately!  That's orders from base!  (I'm kidding.  Still, this game is possibly the best on PlayStation.)
